The FCM-MTCP CR is a communication module for the iDCS-8000 system that provides a Modbus/TCP slave interface. It is intended for PLCs and controllers that operate as Modbus/TCP masters, allowing them to communicate with the iDCS-8000 system over Ethernet.
Local LED indicators show system diagnostic and Ethernet connection status. Two rotary switches are provided for quick configuration of the ID (IP address) when several FCM-MTCP modules are installed. The module supports up to 4 simultaneous Modbus/TCP connections.
The module offers 1000 VDC isolation between the channels and the backplane bus, so a high voltage or current fault on a channel should not affect the backplane, other modules or the control unit. It is rated for an operating temperature of -25 ~ +75 °C and is CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE certified.
