The ET-7083 CR is a three-axis encoder and counter module for Ethernet networks. Each axis can be set individually to Quadrant, CW/CCW or Pulse/Direction counting, so one unit can serve several motion or position feedback inputs without additional counter hardware. Quadrant counting tops out at 1 MHz, while CW/CCW and Pulse/Direction modes reach 4 MHz.
Counter values can be kept through a power loss thanks to FRAM-based retention, which can be enabled or disabled as required. The module supports Modbus TCP and Modbus UDP, and includes a built-in web server with web HMI for configuration and monitoring, along with ID, password and IP filter access control.
Power is supplied from a terminal block at +10 ~ +30 VDC with reverse polarity protection. The module measures 72 x 123 x 35 mm, mounts on a DIN rail, and operates from -25 ~ +75 °C. It carries CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE marks.
