The ECAT-M808-8AX CR is a PCI Express EtherCAT MainDevice board for PC-based multi-axis motion and I/O control, supporting up to 8 axes and up to 512 slaves. Its onboard CPU handles the motion and I/O functions, which reduces the processing load on the host PC.
The board integrates 13 digital inputs, 13 digital outputs and 2 encoder interfaces with compare trigger outputs. Synchronised motion functions such as E-GEAR and E-CAM, virtual axes and multi-axis linear interpolation are included. A second CPU with EtherCAT communication retention keeps the network running and recipes uninterrupted if the OS or a program crashes.
This ordering code is supplied without cable and daughter board. The -S variants of the series include a DN-26, a CA-1515M and a CA-2615M, so choose the standard CR code if these accessories are not required.
