ECAT-M808-16AX CR is a PCI Express EtherCAT MainDevice card for PC-based motion and I/O control. It handles up to 16 axes and up to 512 EtherCAT slaves, with synchronised motion functions such as E-GEAR and E-CAM, and it carries its own CPU to take the EtherCAT and motion workload off the host PC.
On board, the card provides 13 digital inputs, 13 digital outputs and 2 encoder interfaces with compare trigger outputs, so it can combine axis control with local I/O in a single PCIe slot. A second CPU with EtherCAT communication retention technology is designed to keep EtherCAT communication and process recipes running if the operating system or application crashes.
This ordering code is supplied without cable and daughter board. Choose the -16AX CR variant when you need a 16-axis MainDevice and plan to source the cabling and daughter board separately, or select the /S version if you want the DN-26 and CA cables included.
