CAN-8124-G is a DeviceNet slave remote I/O unit that links local field I/O to a DeviceNet master. Its single expansion slot lets you add digital or analogue channels to suit each machine, so the I/O mix can be matched to the application.
The slot accepts DI, DO, AI and AO modules from the I-87K or I-8000 series. A CAN Slave Utility is available to generate an EDS file dynamically, based on DeviceNet, which is intended to work with different DeviceNet master interfaces.
Node address and baud rate are set with rotary switches, supporting 125 k, 250 k and 500 k. The unit supports up to 64 nodes, has a jumper-selectable 120 Ω terminal resistor, runs from +10 VDC to +30 VDC and operates between -25 and +75 ℃.
