The tET-P2A2 CR is a compact Ethernet I/O module that monitors two digital inputs and switches two digital outputs over a 10/100 Mbps network. It is designed for engineers who need remote DI/DO access in a small footprint, with Modbus TCP as the main control interface for connection to HMI, SCADA, PLC and other software systems.
Each digital input is a wet-contact type with sink/source capability, latched input and 32-bit counter functions, and frequency measurement up to 3.5 kHz without filter. The outputs are source-type open-collector channels rated at 650 mA per channel, with short-circuit protection. Input and output circuits are isolated at 3750 Vrms. The module can also be set up for DI-to-DO pair connection across the Ethernet network.
For resilience, the module provides a CPU watchdog and a host watchdog. If the host fails, the outputs can move to a predefined safe value, and the power-on value of the outputs can also be set. A built-in web server handles configuration, and firmware can be updated via Ethernet. The unit is powered from a terminal block at +12 to +48 VDC and mounts on DIN rail.
