ET-2217H is an Ethernet I/O module for engineers who need fast, multi-channel analogue acquisition on a networked device. Its eight differential inputs can each be configured individually for voltage or current signals, with the input type set by DIP switch and ranges from ±2.5 V up to ±10 V or 0 ~ +20 mA, 4 ~ +20 mA and ±20 mA.
Data resolution is 16-bit, and the module samples across all channels at a total rate of 8 kHz when using TCP streaming. The available sampling rate per channel scales with the number of channels in use. Protection features include common voltage protection of ±200 VDC, overvoltage protection of +50 VDC and overcurrent protection of 50 mA at 50 VDC (max.). Isolation is rated at 1500 VDC on Ethernet and 3000 VDC on I/O.
The built-in two-port switch allows LAN bypass and daisy-chain wiring, which simplifies cabling in distributed panels. Configuration is done through the built-in web server, with password and IP filter access control. Supported protocols include Modbus TCP, Modbus UDP, MQTT and SNMP V2c, and the module can be powered from a +10 ~ +48 VDC terminal block.
