The LX-9781 CR combines computing, I/O and operator interface in one metal-cased unit. Its E3845 (1.91 GHz) CPU runs Linux kernel 4.14.12, so an engineer can host HMI, data acquisition and control logic in a single PAC rather than splitting them across separate devices.
Seven local slots accept I-9K and I-97K series I/O modules. Remote expansion is possible through the Ethernet and RS-485 I/O modules listed in the ICP DAS range, and the unit offers VGA and HDMI dual display, USB host ports and isolated RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports.
Built-in web, FTP, Telnet and SSH servers help with remote administration, and a LinPAC SDK supports application development in GNU C. Redundant power input with an alarm relay, dual watchdog timers and a 64-bit hardware serial number complete the feature set.
