The FR-2053iTA CR adds 16 isolated digital inputs to an FRnet network. Each channel accepts wet-contact signals in either Sink or Source (NPN/PNP) configuration, with an ON level of +3.5 ~ +30 VDC, so it suits a wide range of field sensors and switches.
FRnet modules can be daisy-chained, letting engineers grow the remote input count without running a separate cable for every point. Wire-saving DI control, broadcasting (1:n) transmission and fixed I/O scan time with synchronisation keep the network simple to plan and predictable in operation.
Power is supplied at +10 ~ +30 VDC with reverse polarity protection. The plastic DIN-rail module is rated for -25 ~ +75 °C operation and carries EFT, ESD and surge immunity to IEC 61000-4-4, -2 and -5 respectively. Selectable transfer speeds of 250 kbps or 1 Mbps (default) give a choice between distance and cycle time.
