The XP-8138-CE6 CR is a soft PLC controller that combines IEC 61131-3 logic control with a PC-style operating environment. Its dual-core x86 CPU runs Windows CE 6.0 and supports hard real-time operation, so engineers can build deterministic control applications on a compact DIN-rail or wall-mounted platform.
This 1-slot variant adds a single I/O expansion slot to the base unit, allowing one parallel or serial I/O module to be fitted alongside the on-board VGA, USB, Ethernet and serial ports. Embedded Win-GRAF SoftLogic handles the control logic, while the Modbus RTU/TCP master and slave functions and the OPC UA server support integration with other devices and systems.
Redundant power inputs and support for a dual-PAC redundant system help to improve availability in demanding installations. The unit also provides an eLogger HMI function and a VGA display output for local visualisation.
