WISE-2841M CR is a metal-cased IIoT edge controller that is set up and monitored from a web browser, so no separate software tool is needed. Control logic is defined through web pages using IF-THEN-ELSE rules, which avoids conventional programming for most automation tasks.
The controller gathers data from DCON or Modbus RTU slave modules on COM3 and COM4, Modbus TCP slave devices, I-7000 and M-7000 series I/O, (P)ET-7000 modules, WF-2000 devices and iCAM IP cameras, then forwards it through MQTT, SNMP traps or Modbus TCP master functions. For security, it supports HTTPS for web access, SFTP and FTPS for log file transfer, SNMP v3 and a VPN function for reaching devices on a protected network.
Cloud links are available to Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and IBM Bluemix IoT platforms, as well as ICP DAS IoTstar cloud management software. Real-time alerts can be sent via LINE Notify, Telegram, WeChat and email, making the unit suitable for building automation, factory and machine automation, and remote maintenance.
