The USB-2026 CR brings analog and digital I/O to a PC or box PC over a single USB 2.0 full-speed connection. It combines five differential analog inputs, two 12-bit analog outputs, two digital inputs and two digital outputs in a compact, portable housing that draws its power from the USB bus, so no separate supply wiring is needed. This makes it a practical choice where a full PC I/O card would be awkward to fit or service.
Each analog input can be set to its own voltage or current range, which suits mixed sensor layouts without changing hardware. Analog outputs support voltage and 4 ~ 20 mA current ranges, with open wire detection on the 4 ~ 20 mA outputs. Both digital outputs are isolated open collector sink types with overload and short-circuit protection, and can be set to alarm output behaviour.
The CR variant ships with a 1.5 m USB cable (CA-USB15) that can be locked in place. ICP DAS supplies an API library and demo programs with source code for Windows and Linux, covering VB, C++, C#.NET, VB.NET and LabVIEW, so the module can be integrated into custom applications without installing a separate driver.
