The MN-SERVO-DAA is a single-axis motion control module that plugs directly into a Delta ASDA-A/A2 servo drive and joins a Motionnet line through a standard Cat.5 LAN cable. It adds an axis to a distributed motion system without a separate controller-side wiring run to each drive, which suits compact, highly integrated machine automation.
Each module handles pulse output of up to 6.6 MHz, encoder input and the limit, home and slow-down sensor inputs for its axis. Up to 64 axes can be controlled on one line, with multi-axis linear and 2-axis circular interpolation, and T/S-curve acceleration and deceleration. Speed and position can be changed on the fly.
The CR ordering version is fitted with spring-type terminal blocks as standard, so no additional terminal board is needed. Three-way isolation between power, communication and I/O is provided for better noise immunity and device protection.
