The I-9014C CR is an analog input module for PAC I/O systems that measures eight differential current channels over a ±20 mA range. Its 16-bit converter samples at up to 250 kS/s, making it suited to engineers who need fast, accurate current capture with galvanic separation between the module and the rest of the system.
The Magic Scan function gives flexible control over acquisition. Each input channel can be scanned at its own input range, and single-channel scanning can keep the full 250 kS/s rate. Scanning can be run in a standard mode or with a virtual sample-and-hold function, and acquisition can be started internally or by an external trigger using post-trigger mode.
A 4 K-word onboard FIFO buffer stores conversion results and raises an interrupt to the host once the sample count passes a pre-defined level, which reduces the load on the host during high-speed capture. The module carries CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE certifications and is listed as RoHS compliant under the CR ordering code.
